Elephant-Themed Ceramic, Glass, and Hand-Painted Ornaments - A collection of various elephant-themed holiday ornaments and decorative figurines in mixed media. The group features several bisque porcelain circus-themed elephants, including two marked with the year 1997 and one featuring the number 4 on its saddle, in the style of Precious Moments. One large, glitter-embellished blown glass elephant ornament retains its original retail tag reading Merck Family's Old World Christmas. Also present are several spherical ornaments of lacquered or paper-mache construction, hand-painted with wildlife and geometric patterns including a tiger and a rhinoceros. The assortment is completed by a reclining gray porcelain figurine with a red ribbon, a small gold-toned composite elephant with a crown, a silver-toned metallic-finish elephant, and a dark-finished cast elephant.
