The specimen is presented in a dynamic, slightly curved swimming pose with an open mouth. The paint scheme features characteristic Lake Trout markings, including light-colored spots over a dark greenish-gray body with vermiculations on the dorsal surface and fins. The lower fins show the white leading edges typical of the genus Salvelinus, and the tail is deeply forked.
