A Trio of Vintage Western and Remington Shotgun Ammunition Boxes - This collection includes three vintage cardboard shotgun ammunition boxes from prominent American manufacturers. One box is for Western Super-X all new plastic rifled slug loads, 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch, with 1 oz. slugs. It retains original Town and Country price stickers. A second box is for Remington Mohawk Long Range 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch shells with size 6 shot, featuring original retail and sale labels. The third box, shown from the reverse, serves as an advertisement for the Western Cartridge Company, a division of Olin Industries, Inc., East Alton, Illinois. This reverse panel lists various Western and Winchester products, including Super-X and Xpert shotgun shells, center-fire cartridges, Silvertip ammunition, flashlights, batteries, and roller skates. Visual inspection confirms that at least one box contains a red plastic shotgun shell with a brass base.
