INDIANA GLASS AMBER HON - This two-piece pressed glass covered dish is a classic Hen on Nest pattern attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The set is constructed from deep amber glass and features a lid molded in the shape of a sitting hen. The hen lid displays detailed feathering across the wings and body, a scalloped comb, and a smooth beak. The matching oval base is designed with a decorative beaded rim and a stippled, textured finish on the exterior bowl. The underside of the base terminates in a smooth, integrated oval foot. No manufacturer marks, logos, or signatures are present on either piece.
