VTG ANCHOR HOCKING HEN ON NEST - This two-piece novelty covered dish is crafted from clear pressed glass in the classic Hen on Nest form. The design is in the style of mid-20th-century kitchenware produced by manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking. The lid is molded into the shape of a sitting hen with stylized feathers, wings, and head features. The circular base features an all-over raised basketweave pattern on the exterior to represent a nest. A circular embossed mark is located on the underside of the base, though it is not clearly legible.
