American Pressed Glass Rooster on Nest Pedestal Covered Dish - A two-piece mold-pressed glass covered dish featuring a rooster motif. The lid is shaped in the form of a rooster with a prominent textured comb, wattle, and a large, multi-feathered tail. The corresponding base is a pedestal bowl decorated with a stylized basketweave and feather pattern on the exterior, supported by a flared circular foot. The item is crafted from translucent glass in a pale yellow-green color, a hue often associated with uranium or Vaseline glass. Visible mold seams are present on both the lid and the base, characteristic of the pressing process. No maker marks, factory signatures, or logos are present on either piece.
