Vintage Hazel Atlas White Milk Glass Hen on Nest - This two-piece covered dish, colloquially known as a Hen on Nest, is made of opaque white milk glass. The dish consists of a lid molded in the shape of a hen and an oval base. The lid features detailed molded feathers, a comb, and a beak. The base is decorated with a basket-weave pattern on the exterior. This specific mold and design are frequently attributed to the Hazel Atlas Glass Company. The interior of the dish and the underside of the lid are smooth.
