Imperial Frosted Satin Pheasant on Nest - An oval lidded glass dish manufactured by the Imperial Glass Corporation. The piece features a frosted satin finish throughout the bowl and lid. The lid is surmounted by a clear glass finial modeled as a perched pheasant with molded plumage. The dish sits on a stepped oval pedestal base, the underside of which features a molded radial starburst pattern. The interior floor of the bowl retains a blue and silver foil label with a stemware logo and text reading Imperial USA. The underside of the lid bears an embossed IG monogram hallmark within a circle.
