Hazel-Atlas Early White Milk Glass Hen on Nest - This two-piece pressed milk glass covered dish is a product of the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company. The lid is molded in the form of a nesting hen with textured feathering throughout the body, wings, and head. The base features a basketweave pattern around the exterior. The bottom of the base is embossed with the Hazel-Atlas trademark, consisting of a capital H with a smaller A nested beneath the crossbar. The glass is opaque white with a glossy finish.
