A Pair of Cobalt Blue Moderntone Pattern Glass Footed Creamer and Sugar Bowl - A pair of cobalt blue depression-era glass service pieces attributed to the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company in the Moderntone pattern. The set includes one footed creamer with a single handle and a pinched pouring spout, and one footed open sugar bowl with two handles. Both pieces are crafted from transparent cobalt blue glass and feature a series of horizontal concentric rings around the body, typical of the Art Deco influence of the mid-20th century. The bases are footed with a flared rim. The underside of the sugar bowl base displays faint, raised characters arranged in a circular pattern, including the word MADE, while the creamer base shows indistinct raised marks. This pattern was originally produced in the United States between 1934 and 1942.
