A Pair of Moon and Star Pattern Colonial Blue Pressed Glass Candlesticks with Peg Lamp Attachments - This lot consists of a pair of pressed glass candlesticks and matching accessories in the Moon and Star pattern, finished in a vibrant colonial blue hue. The pattern features deep circular indentations, commonly referred to as moons, and smaller embossed floral or star motifs set against a textured background. The candlestick bases are bell-shaped with flared, scalloped rims. The set includes two matching blue glass peg lamp attachments designed for insertion into the candlestick sockets to accommodate votives or oil. Each peg attachment is fitted with a ribbed, off-white plastic or rubber gasket at the base. Two off-white taper candles are also included as shown. The design and color are characteristic of mid-20th-century American pressed glass, frequently associated with manufacturers such as L.E. Smith Glass Co. and L.G. Wright.
