The larger piece is an oval reticulated basket with pierced vertical rectangular openings and two integral handles. The interior center is decorated with a transfer-printed floral spray featuring pansies in shades of purple, blue, and yellow. It is accented with gilt lines and a scalloped rim with embossed scrollwork. The second item is an oval bonbon dish with a fixed central handle. The interior contains a transfer-printed bouquet of pink, yellow, and blue flowers. The handle is decorated with gilt stripes, and the scalloped rim features embossed foliate motifs with gold-tone edging. No maker marks are visible on either piece.
