Horizon Blue Pressed Glass Footed Basket with Ruffled Rim - This pressed glass basket is designed in the Canterbury pattern, which is attributed to the Indiana Glass Company. The piece is rendered in a vibrant turquoise colorway known as Horizon Blue. The pattern features an all-over geometric motif of interlocking diamonds with central raised bosses. The basket is characterized by a flared rim with deep ruffles and a scalloped edge, sitting atop a short pedestal base with vertical ribbing. It is finished with a tall, smooth, arched handle of the same blue glass. There are no visible maker marks or signatures on the piece. Height: Approximately 11 inches.
