Two Pieces of Mid-Century Modern Turquoise Blue Art Glass Including an Oversized Snifter and Tapered Decanter - This lot consists of two pieces of mid-century modern hand-blown art glass finished in a vibrant turquoise blue color. The first item is a large decorative vessel shaped as an oversized brandy snifter, featuring a subtle optic swirl pattern on the bowl, a knopped stem, and a flat circular base. The second item is a tall tapered decanter with a teardrop-shaped body and a contrasting darker blue applied glass rim at the neck. The decanter is accompanied by a matching conical glass stopper with a cork wrap. While the forms and color are strongly characteristic of mid-century Italian glass from the Empoli region, no maker marks, signatures, or labels were found.
