The piece is crafted from uranium glass, which demonstrates a bright green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. The glass features a satin finish in a pale yellow custard color. The jar and lid are decorated with hand-painted floral patterns depicting pink and yellow roses with green foliage. The lid is domed and topped with a matching pointed finial. On the underside of the base, the piece is signed Hand painted by Tammy W. in reddish-orange paint. This signature corresponds to an artist decorator employed by Fenton in the late 20th century.
