Fenton Amberina Hobnail Glass Footed Covered Candy Dish - This footed covered candy dish is manufactured by the Fenton Art Glass Company in the Hobnail pattern. The piece is made of Amberina glass, a heat-sensitive material that shades from a deep ruby red through the body to a bright amber-orange at the edges. Both the lid and the bowl feature hand-finished crimped or ruffled rims. The bowl is supported by a pedestal foot, and the lid is finished with a molded decorative knob. A molded Fenton script mark inside an oval is present on the base of the bowl, identifying the manufacturer and indicating a production date from 1970 or later.
