Fenton & American Art Glass Footed Compotes - This lot features two decorative footed glass vessels of American manufacture. The first piece is a pedestal compote crafted in Amberina glass, characterized by a heat-sensitive color transition from deep ruby red at the rim to a golden yellow base. The vessel is decorated with a pressed hobnail pattern and finished with a deeply ruffled, crimped rim. This form and color scheme are highly characteristic of the Fenton Art Glass Company. The second item is a marigold carnival glass footed bowl with a metallic iridescent finish over an amber glass body. The exterior features a pressed motif of grapes and vines, while the rim displays a distinctive open-edge lattice or scrolled design. This pattern is attributed to the Fenton Vintage line. Neither piece shows visible manufacturer marks.
