Fenton Water Lily Custard Uranium Glass Footed Covered Candy Dish - This footed candy dish with a matching lid was manufactured by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The piece is crafted from opaque custard glass, which contains uranium and exhibits a strong green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light. The exterior surface is decorated in the Water Lily pattern, featuring dense, high-relief floral and leaf motifs across the bowl, lid, and pedestal base. The lid is topped with a fluted, bud-shaped finial. The underside of the foot features an embossed oval mark containing the word Fenton, identifying the manufacturer. This item was produced using a pressed glass technique.
