Bidspirit auction | Set of Nine Uranium Green

Set of Nine Uranium Green Glass Plume Optic Stemmed Goblets - Set of nine green glass wine goblets, identified as uranium glass due to their bright neon-green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The pieces are made of light translucent green glass featuring an internal plume optic pattern, also referred to as a feather optic, which radiates from the base of the bowl to the flared rim. The form of each glass includes a bell-shaped bowl on a slender stem with two decorative knops, one at the base of the bowl and one just above the flat, circular foot. This pattern and form are characteristic of mid-20th-century American depression-era glassware, often associated with the Tiffin Glass Company. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the items. The bases are smooth and finished without a visible pontil scar.
