A Pair of Country Goose Pattern Ceramic Salt and Pepper Shakers - A pair of ceramic salt and pepper shakers decorated in the Country Goose pattern, also commonly referred to as the Blue Ribbon Goose motif. Each shaker is fashioned in the form of a miniature mug or stein, featuring a single loop handle and a domed top with shaker holes. The glazed ceramic bodies are ornamented with transfer-printed designs of white geese wearing blue and white polka-dot scarves, accompanied by small yellow goslings. The design is set against a background of scattered blue polka dots and finished with a coordinating blue dotted band encircling the base. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible. This specific pattern was widely produced by various manufacturers and importers for the mass market during the 1980s and 1990s.
