The personal gemarah used by the Admor- Rav Menachem Mendel Hager Vishive, son of the ”Ahavas Yisrael” of Vizhnitz. T he Admor- Rav Menachem Mendel of Vishive (5645-5701) was renowned from a young age as a gadol and received semicha from the Maharsham. He became the Av Beis Din in Visheve in 5681 and in his three-hour-long discourse, he 'strolled through the Bavli and Yerushalmi with the familiarity of one who is strolling through his own home'. He established a yeshiva gedolah with a student body numbering 400! The Admor's stamp is scattered in many places throughout the sefer. A large, thick volume, brown and greenish paper. Moth holes and stains on a portion of the pages, damaged leather binding without spine, in mediocre-good condition.
