Certificate of Eligibility for Marriage by Rav Avraham Dov Gabbai, Av Beis Din of Varakļāni   Handwritten certificate of bachelorhood, handwritten and signed by Rav Avraham Dov Gabbai, AB”D of Varaklani (in the center of Latvia). Rav Avraham Dov Gabbai, AB”D of Varaklani, born in 5600 in Bobruisk was a close disciple of the 'Aruch HaShulchan' and was given semicha from the Netziv of Volozhin. From 5633 he served as Rav of Varaklani for more than twenty years. His novellae was left unprinted (Ohalei Shem Pinsk 567 page 54) He discoursed with the Ridbaz- see Ridbaz responsa, chapter 25.
