Letter from Rav Baruch Tzvi Hirsh Rosenblum, Av Beis Din of Piotrków Trybunalski. One of the Friends of the Kotzker Rebbe. Węgrów 5622 [1862] Handwritten and signed letter by Rav Tzvi Hirsh Rosenblum, AB”D of Piotrkow Trybunalski, to Rav Shmuel Salant. Rav Baruch Tzvi Hirsh Rosenblum, AB”D Piotrkow Trybunalski (5579-5649) was a disciple of the Kotzker Rebbe. He served as AB”D of Rudzmin, Wegrow and from around 5627 served as Rav of the large city of Piotrkow Trybunalski. Responsa and approbations from him can be found in the gedolim of his generation's sefarim. His Torah writings remain unpublished. [see sefer ”Beis Kotzk” page 108 and sefer ”Chachmei Polin: page 251] On other side of page is a kvittel for Rav Shmuel Salant. In the letter he requests from Rav Shmuel for a letter to the gaon's friend, Rav Meir Orbach, author of ”Imrei Binah” [see ”Imrei Binah” volume I chapter 3, for his answer to him] Small page: 7x14 cm.
