Handwritten Letter by the Admor- Rav Yisrael Shapira of Bluzhev Handwritten and signed letter by the Bluzhever Rebbe to his friend, Rav Aharon HaCohen Gutwerta. The Admor- Rav Yisrael Shapira of Bluzhev - A branch of the Dinov dynasty. Born in Rzeszów in 5650, he was crowned as Rabbi. He served as Rav in פראכניק and Ustrzyki Dolne (Istrik) and most of his father's chassidim joined him. In 5685 he published his grandfather's sefer: Tzvi LaTzaddik responsa, adding his own notations. He was miraculously saved from the holocaust, stayed for a time in Antwerp and from there moved to the United States where he established a chassidic center. He was one of the heads of the 'Mo'etzes Gedoley HaTorah' and the president of Kollel Galicia. Passed away in 5750. [Encyclopedia Lachassidus, part 2, page 578]. Without date.
