Rabbi Moshe Hirsch Fuchs av"d Grosswardein (1843-1911) was one of the most prominent rabbanim in Hungary and Transylvania. He served as rabbi of Grosswardein for thirty years and headed the yeshivah there that educated many prominent rabbanim. He was a close talmid of the Ksav Sofer and also learned by the Maharam Schick and Rabbi Chaim Zvi Mannheimer av"d Ungvar. His Yad Ramah responsa was printed in Grosswardein in 1940.
