Letter from Rav Yitzchak Krepel of Paks to Rav Simcha Bunim Sofer Postcard written and signed by Rav Yitzchak Krepel of Paks. Rav Yitzchak Krepel, dayan in Paks, was a talmid of the Shevet Sofer and Rav Dovid Lakenbach, rav”d Pressburg. From 1891, he served as dayan in Paks for about fifty years. After the passing of av”d Rav Eliezer Zussman Sofer, he assisted his successor, Rav Yosef Leib Sofer, in leading the community. He taught Torah in the city and raised great talmidim, rabbanim and poskim, until his death in 1940. His works include the Nefesh Yitzchak on the Torah. Filing hole. Fine condition.
