Sefer Ahavas Tzion - Drashos of the Noda B'Yehudah. First edition. Prague, [1827] Sefer Ahavas Tzion. Eight sermons ”to inspire love for our Father in heaven, ” delivered by Rav Yechezkel Segal Landau to his community. These sermons have strong ability to strengthen the hearts of Yisrael in their avodas Hashem, as his close talmid Rav Elazar Fleckeles testified, ”A few tens of thousands did teshuva from his drashos of mussar, haskel, tzedek and meisharim” ( Olas Chodesh 3, drush 17). Printed from the manuscript of the Noda B'Yehudah. This is the first collection of drashos of the Noda B'Yehudah to be printed (only individual drashos had been printed previously). The collection ends with four drashos by his son, Rav Shmuel, author of Shivas Tzion, including a drashah in honor of the emperor.
