17th Century. Rinas Dodim on Shir Hashirim, Basle 1600 Rinas Dodim, commentary on Shir Hashirim, with text, by Rav Eliyahu b”r Moshe Loans, ”Eliyahu Baal Shem.” Basle, 1600. [1], 30 leaves. 19.5 cm. This exemplar was compiled from two copies. It was in poor condition, with loss, tears and worming holes. The entire work was professionally and artistically restored: The losses and worming holes were filled in and the tears were meticulously repaired. One of the leaves is torn, with loss of text, and has been professionally filled in with a piece from a different copy. Prominent damage to the two least leaves, even after the restoration.
