Invitation and letter from Rebbe Yitzchak Rosenfeld of Kaminka Printed invitation from Rebbe Yitzchak Halevi Rosenfeld of Kaminka to the wedding of his son, Rav Refael, with Maras Esther Hendel - the daughter of his brother, Rav Menachem Mendel of Bistritz, which was scheduled to take place in Bistritz, Tammuz 1934. Rzeszów, [1934]. On the side of the printed invitation is a lengthy letter written and signed by the Rebbe Yitzchak Rosenfeld of Kaminka, to ”Chevrah Rei'im Ahuvim.” The original date set for the wedding was in Shevat, but it was pushed off until Tammuz. The Rebbe  corrected the invitation manually. Rebbe Yitzchak HaLevi Rosenfeld of Kaminka was the son of Rabbe Shalom Rosenfeld of Kaminka (the second), and son-in-law of Rav Yaakov Horowitz av”d אוליינוב. When his father died, he took over as Kaminka Rebbe in Rzeszów, where he also served as dayan and av”d. He died during the Holocaust, together with his son, Rav Avraham Yehoshua who was the Kaminka Rebbe in Oświęcim. His son, the chassan in this wedding invitation, dedicated himself to Torah and avodah, and was supported by his father-in-law, the Rebbe of Bistritz, until the family was taken to Auschwitz, where his wife and family were killed. He himself was sent to the Melk concentration camp where he was murdered, Hy”d. Invitation. 20 cm. Fine condition. Fold marks and stains. Solitary marginal tears.
