Hundreds of Handwritten Glosses and Novellae on Tractates of Seder Moed. Tractates Pesachim, Beitzah, Chagigah and Moed Katan. Vilna, [1897]. Hundreds of glosses, novellae and sources are handwritten amongst the leaves of this book. The identity of the author is unclear, however the content of the notes indicate that he was undoubtedly an erudite Torah scholar. The title page of Tractate Pesachim bears an owner stamp: חיים קארין אב”ד ווערבאוויץ [author of the prominent work Tav Chaim]. With an additional rabbinical owner stamp that is partially faded. Some of the glosses are cropped or faded. Small gemaras from the Vilna edition of [1897], missing leaf 2 of Tractate Beitzah. Each tractate has its own title page. bound together. Fragile paper, blemished binding.
