Large Historic Document Signed by Rabbi Moshe Mintz - Maharam Mintz, Av Beis Din of Óbuda A large, lengthy, and detailed document, spanning three oversized pages, containing various resolutions from a meeting of the leaders and officials of the community of Óbuda (Alt-Ofen) in 1808, hand-signed and approved by Rabbi Moshe Mintz, Av Beis Din of Óbuda. Rabbi Moshe Mintz (Maharam Mintz)  (1750-1831) was a disciple of Rabbi Meshulam Igra, would correspond with the Noda Biyehuda, who lavishly praised him (see Shu”t Noda B’Yehuda, Even HaEzer, Siman 23, at the beginning and end of the responsum). From 1790, he served as the Rav of Óbuda, where he led the community with distinction for over forty years. His Shu”t Maharam Mintz was published in Prague, 1827. Large folded sheet. Size: 39 cm. Folding marks and minor tears along the margins. Good condition
