Chassidus. Sanz-Stropkov Dynasty. Letter written by Admor Yissacher Dov Lifshitz of Stropkov-Ungvar 1933. Admor Yissachar Dov Lifshitz hy”d (1882-1944) was the son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Shalom Halberstam, son of Rabbi Yechezkel of Shinowa. He began serving as admor of Stropkov in the city of Ungvar already during his father-in-law’s lifetime. He was renowned as a Torah scholar and Jews from around the country would come to him with their halachic disputes. His novellae were published by his son, the Admor of Stropkov, in Divrei Yissachar Dov. Ungvar 1933 Postcard, all in his hand, with his stamp and signature.
