Long Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss of Bonyhád – 1880 Lengthy letter of chiddushei Torah from Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss of Bonyhad, to Rav Menachem Eliyahu Goitein, Av Beis Din of העדיאס. Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss , disciple of Rav Shmuel Ehrenfeld, Av Beis Din of Mattersdorf, was a giant in Torah and, as it seems from this letter, was a moreh horaah in Bonyhad [quote from his letter: ”with the burden of the community, light and heavy questions”]. Torah novellae from him have been printed in ”Vayilkat Yosef”. [Rav M.A.Z. Kinstelicher, Kehillas Bonyhad Vechachameha, Chodesh Bechodsho (2003) page 90] Folded sheet, 4 pages. 21×17 cm.
