Letter from Rabbi Pinchas Leib Freudiger av”d Óbuda. Pest 1819 Letter in Yiddish by Rabbi Pinchas Leib Freudiger rav”d Óbuda. Rabbi Pinchas Leib Freudiger (d. 1858) was the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Freudiger, author of Zichron Yitzchak and av’d Holešov. He was a disciple of Rabbi Baruch Teumim Frenkel, author of Baruch Ta’am , and friend of his son-in-law Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, who he stayed by when he arrived in Alt-Often. Per the recommendation of his rebbe, the Baruch Ta’am he received a position as dayan on the beit din of the Maharam Minitz. He later served as av”d in Izsák in Mehrin. After the death of Maharam Minitz, he returned to Alt-Ofen to serve as rav”d. Rabbi Moshe Freudiger, author of Moshe Yidaber, was his only son. Pest 1819 23.5 CM.
