Complete Set of Akeidas Yitzchak Commentary on the Torah- which Belonged to the Renowned Mashgiach- Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian Sefer Akeidat Yitzchak on the Torah, authored by Rabbi Yitzchak Arama, with commentaries by Rabbi Chaim Yosef Pollak, Av Beis Din of Trebic [disciple of the Chasam Sofer]. A complete set that belonged to the great Gaon, Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian (1876-1970). One of the greatest mussar giants of the past century and one of the greatest to have learned in the Kelm yeshiva. Made aliya to Eretz Yisrael in 1950, where he spread Torah and mussar. In 1951, he became the mashgiach in Yeshivas Kfar Chassidim. His Torah has been recorded in sefer Lev Eliyahu, prepared for publication by Rav Shalom Shwadron, his close disciple. At the beginning of each volume, Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian’s personal stamp appears. Included is a handwritten Torah novella page found between the pages of the sefer, though no comparison has been made to verify its authorship. Pressburg, 1849. In the Shemot volume, the title page and the following leaf are missing, and the subsequent leaf is damaged with a tear. All other volumes are complete. Minor age stains, a moth hole at the end of the Bamidbar volume. Good condition.
