Large leaf with text on both sides, in his holy hand and with his signature. Missing the first section. Printed in Shu”t Maharash Engel, section one, siman 76, sent to Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Hertzig of Bobov. Rabbi Shmuel Engel av”d Radomyśl (1853-1935) authored the eight sections of Shu”t Maharash, Sifsei Maharash and Chidushei Maharash . He grew up in Sanz, in the shadow of the Divrei Chaim. One of the most prominent halachic responders in his time, leading rabbis and chassidic leaders addressed halachic questions to him. Small tear with slight text loss.
