Sefer Evronot - Lublin 1615 Sefer Evronot - Classic work for designating the Jewish calendar and calculating the tekufos, moldos and evronos [=astronomy], rearranged by Rabbi Eliezer Bellin Ashkenazi. Many illustrations, charts and spheres to calculate seasons. This is the first edition of the Sefer Evronos edited by Rabbi Eliezer Bellin Ashkenazi. The sefer is primarily based on the Sefer Evronos printed in Riva di Trento 1561 by Reb Yaakov Marcaria (which is partially based on Chachmas HaMazalos, Basle, 1526). However, Rabbi Eliezer Bellin Ashkenazi redacted the entire sefer and added supplements, commentaries, expansions and made changes and omissions. All later editions were reprinted from this edition. Extremely rare edition! *** Lublin 1615, at the press of Tzvi bar Avraham Kloynmous Yaffe 36 leaves, from 41 leaves. Missing the last 5 leaves and one of the spheres attributed to ”Igul D'Rav Nachshon.” 18.5 cm. Blemish to the last leaf (refer to picture). Cropped margins with blemish to some page titles. Overall fine condition.
