Kabbalah. Shemen Sasson – First Edition – Inscribed by the author, mekubel Rav Sasson Parsiado  Sefer Shemen Sasson – Part Three. Commentary on Pri Etz Chaim, Shaar HaKavanot, and Olat Tamid of Rabbeinu Chaim Vital, authored by Rav Sasson ben Moshe. The leaf preceding the title page was inscribed and signed by the author. Rav Sasson ben Moshe Parsiado [1825–1903] was a prominent Yerushalmi mekubel, Rosh Yeshiva of Beit El. He was a shadar in Iraq and India. Rav Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinova, son of the Divrei Chaim, visited him in Yerushalayim. In 1882, when he was 57, he was appointed Rosh Yeshivah of Beit El, a position he held for 21 years until his passing. During this period, he repeatedly traveled to fundraise in Iraq and India. His Shemen Sasson series, with commentaries on the teachings of the Arizal, are classic, fundamental works for in-depth study of Kabbala. Yerushalayim, 1885 – First edition.
