Handwritten elucidations by the Maggid of Dubno. We do not know of any other manuscript from the Dubno Maggid that this manuscript can be compared to. The manuscript is not signed. Manuscript with elucidations and parables on Shir HaShirim by Rav Yaakov Kranz - the Dubno Maggid. This manuscript includes a few ”meshalim” of the Dubno Maggid. The Dubno Maggid (1741-1805) was the most prominent maggid and darshan of his time. Everybody enjoyed his drashos and people streamed to hear his speeches that were spiced with parables and penetrated hearts. The Gr”a admired him and invited him so that he could listen to his words of Torah. His sweet parables were lovingly accepted in all Jewish communities. Printed in his Kol Yaakov on the five megillos (Warsaw, 1835). 16 pages. 21 cm. Wear and light tears in the margins, some leaves are detached, stains.
