New Year card of Rabbi Shmuel Griniman.
Vilna, Rabbi Shmuel Grunem Griniman (1889-1957) was a rabbi and public figure in Lithuania, Eretz Yisrael and the United States and was the close assistant of the Chafetz Chaim and Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski. He was one of the founders of the Council of Yeshivas in Vilna and one of its central activists, as well as founder of the Torah Education Center in Eretz Yisrael and the Tiferet Yerushalaima, and the publisher of the books of his brother-in-law Hazon Ish.
