Letter in study of the holy handwriting of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt”l. - The letter was written on the reverse side of an invitation, apparently in 1982/82. Dimensions : 33 * 10 cm. Condition ; Very Good, folding marks. Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv (1910 - 2012), later leader of the Lithuanian Charedi community, served as Dayan at the regional Rabbinical Court in Jerusalem from the beginning of Kislev, 1951, and after several years served as Dayan in the Supreme Court Until his retirement in 1973 following the ruling in the brother and sister affair.
