A Collection of British Commemorative and Decorative Ceramics including Royal Memorabilia and Irish Style Wares - A collection of ceramic wares comprising commemorative mugs, teacups, saucers, and decorative items. The lot includes three commemorative mugs: one porcelain example for the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth dated 12th May 1937 featuring transfer-printed portraits and heraldic motifs; one fine bone china mug for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II with portraits of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh; and one porcelain mug with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II within a decorative cartouche. The teaware includes a fine bone china teacup and saucer set with fluted rims and pink floral sprays, alongside assorted floral-decorated cups and saucers. One notable cup features a multi-coloured floral pattern on a white ground with a yellow-bordered saucer. The base of one inverted cup is marked BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, and MICROWAVE SAFE. Decorative items include a cream-coloured milk jug and matching small bowl featuring a molded basketweave texture and green shamrock motifs, with the jug featuring a brown-glazed twig-style handle in the style of Belleek. The collection is completed by two lidded trinket boxes: one heart-shaped with a floral transfer lid and one circular with applied three-dimensional ceramic floral decoration. Decoration techniques include transfer-printing, gilded accents, and hand-painted elements on the shamrock and 3D floral items.
