A Victorian Style Copper and Brass Gooseneck Tea Kettle - A domestic tea kettle featuring a formed copper body with visible brazed seams. The vessel is fitted with a fixed overhead handle comprising a copper grip supported by wrought brass scroll brackets, which are secured to the shoulder with rivets. The gooseneck spout is characteristic of 19th-century British metalware. The stepped lid is finished with a brass outer rim and a turned brass finial. No maker marks or stamps are present on the exterior surfaces. A small white adhesive label with the numeral 3 is affixed to the handle.
