A Large Staffordshire Glazed Ceramic Lion Figurine with Glass Eyes - A large glazed ceramic figure of a lion, in the Staffordshire style, typically dating to the late 19th century. The piece is modelled in a standing pose with a heavily textured mane and a cream-coloured face. It features inset glass eyes, a hand-painted black muzzle, and an open mouth with red-lined lips. The body is finished in a high-gloss ochre glaze. No factory marks or model numbers are visible on the exterior. Two adhesive labels are present on the lion's back, one orange with the handwritten number 91 and one white with the printed number 26.
