The stone is held in a four-claw setting atop a plain, polished white metal band. No hallmarks or maker's marks are visible on the interior or exterior of the shank. The ring is housed in a vintage presentation box, the interior lid marked for the retailer Abbot & Moss, Jewellers, Mere Street, Diss. The exterior of the box features a paper label with the handwritten number 109, which may relate to the stone weight.
