A 20th-century Queen Anne style upholstered footstool - A small rectangular footstool or low bench designed in the Queen Anne style. The frame is supported by four short cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, constructed from a dark-toned hardwood. The seat is fully upholstered in a lime green textured velvet with an embossed, wavy pattern resembling tree bark or woodgrain. A narrow black woven trim finishes the edge where the fabric meets the wooden frame. No permanent manufacturer marks are visible. The piece carries two temporary inventory labels: a rectangular orange label marked 439 and a circular white label marked 6.
