A Trio of Art Deco Style Glazed Earthenware Tableware with Wheat Motif, Attributed to Burleighware - A trio of Art Deco-style glazed earthenware pieces, likely of British origin, comprising two square-form lidded vegetable tureens and a matching open sauce boat. The items are finished in a cream-coloured glaze and feature a stylised pattern of wheat sheaves in orange and yellow with green stalks. The design includes stepped lids and stylised lug handles, accented with a dark-coloured dotted border along the rims and handles. The handles are further decorated with a green painted wash. No maker's marks are visible on the exterior surfaces shown. The items are currently marked with various auction lot stickers, including a small white circular label with the number 23 and orange rectangular labels marked L 1.
