The collection includes three brown-glazed earthenware mugs with rounded bodies and D-shaped handles. Featured is a white ceramic bowl decorated with a Portmeirion The Holly and The Ivy transfer-printed pattern, displaying a holly leaf border and the verse: The holly and the ivy when they are both full grown Of all the trees that are in the wood the holly bears the crown. The lot also contains a set of nested white ceramic vessels and a matching toothbrush holder, all finished with pink-lined rims and pink floral motifs. Further items include a plain white hexagonal ceramic pot, a white rectangular dish with a blue-lined rim, and a large black and white transfer-printed tray or platter with an ornate floral design at the base of the group. Adhesive labels with numbers 39 and 15 are present on some items.
