A Collection of Metalware and Decorative Objects Including a Brass Bed Warmer - A collection of traditional metalware and decorative items. The group includes a brass bed warmer of circular form, featuring a hinged lid with decorative floral-patterned perforations. The warmer is fitted with a long, turned dark wooden handle terminating in a bulbous finial, connected to the pan via a brass ferrule. Also present is a circular copper charger with a scalloped, crimped rim and two upright brass handles, the centre decorated with repoussé foliate and scroll motifs. Further items comprise a boxed set of two Chinese cloisonné Baoding meditation balls finished in dark blue enamel with decorative patterns, housed in a fabric-lined presentation box. The interior lid of the box is marked with Chinese characters 健身球说明书 and the English text IRON BALL DIRECTION. Completing the collection is a miniature cast brass decorative ornament in the shape of a boot.
