CLARENCE in black-filled capital letters. Below the text is a maritime emblem featuring a fouled anchor with a circular device at the intersection of the shank and stock. The bell features turned-line decoration around the upper waist and is fitted with a cast brass suspension yoke. It is accompanied by a hand-braided maritime lanyard, worked in multi-coloured yellow, white, and brown rope with decorative knotwork, terminating in a frayed tassel.
